This year's Feasting on Art was, if anything, the best yet.
The sun shone - yippee - and the garden and grounds of Cortijo La Vizcaronda provided a splendid
back-drop for the arts and crafts on display. There were paintings, ceramics, textiles,
jewelry, glassware, and books - a true testament to the talent and creativity of DFAS de la Frontera's
members and friends. As always there was a convivial air as pieces were admired and bought.
The turnout was excellent. The bar and seating areas provided meeting places
for friends old and new, and of course somewhere to sit and enjoy a glass or two of reviving Cava.
As always hosts John & Henry provided a sumptuous lunch which was packed to overflowing.
Finally a big Thank-You must go to all those that worked so hard
to make the event such a success. In particular to Andrea Pegrum who coordinated the event and
without whose hard work and commitment it couldn't have happened.
